Join us July 26-27, 2025 from 9:00am - 5:00pm for an all-breed cat competition and adoption event at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA.
Capital City Cats is an annual all-breed cat show and adoption event that welcomes thousands of spectators and over 150 cats across more than 30 different breeds. In addition to the competition, this family-friendly event features a dedicated education ring, stuffed animal contests for the kids, and amazing vendors with the BEST cat products and toys you won’t find anywhere else.
About the Show
Looking to add a furry friend to your family? Capital City Cats is partnering with The Cats at Longstreet (TCAL) and the Loudon Humane Society to feature adoptable cats at the show. Head to the Education Ring to learn more about the amazing rescue work these shelters are doing every day and the opportnities you have to foster and adopt cats in need.
Adoption Event
Looking to get your products or services in front of thousands of cat lovers in the Mid-Atlantic this summer? Capital City Cats is one of the largest CFA cat shows in the country and has featured a variety of businesses, including cat cafes, vets and animal behaviorists, and businesses selling cat furniture and carriers, clothing and accessories (for both cats and their owners!), cat toys and stuffed animals, jewlery, and so much more.

Bring the Whole Family!
Capital City Cats is a fun-filled, family-friendly event. We will have stuffed animal contests for the kids each day and a dedicated education ring that will feature presentations about the different cat breeds, the latest news in feline health, and local adoption and foster opportunties. There’s something for everyone!
Admission is free for kids under
5 years old.
